Biography

Janette Nweme-Singley is a recent graduate of Rutgers Law School in Newark NJ. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Paterson University. Before law school, Janette worked as a paralegal at several law firms ranging from boutique to large, handling matters in landlord-tenant, foreclosure, evictions and personal injury. 

Janette joined Wilbraham, Lawler & Buba in the firm's Philadelphia office in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Janette was selected to participate as a team member on the Rutgers National Mock Trial Team. She was selected to tutor 1L students as a Minority Student Program Teaching Fellow for Torts. Janette also interned at a global pharmaceutical company working in compliance, commercial contracts, and commercial real estate alongside the Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary. Janette worked as a Summer Associate at an Insurance Defense firm. Janette served as a Clinical Research Assistant for the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic. Janette worked as a Student Attorney in the Rutgers Community & Transactional Lawyering Clinic handling corporate, small business and nonprofit organization matters. Janette was also a Staff Editor in the Rutgers Race & Law Review. Finally, Janette served as a federal judicial intern clerk for the Hon. Tonianne J. Bongiovanni, U.S.M.J. 

Janette Nweme-Singley recently passed the New York Bar exam and is currently awaiting to be sworn in.
