Barbara A. Fruehauf
Barbara began her career with a local Delaware firm doing primarily personal injury defense work involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, insurance coverage issues, asbestos and other toxic torts, Bankruptcy, industrial accidents, subrogation law, and property damage cases.
Barbara and a partner began their own firm, Cattie and Fruehauf, in 1999 and eventually joined a Philadelphia firm as partners operating their Delaware office. She joined WLB in February, 2011
Barbara has litigated cases in all the Delaware Courts and some in Pennsylvania. In addition, she has been involved in numerous arbitrations, mediations and trials in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

- Successfully briefed and attended a DE Supreme Court argument regarding whether a County employee was insured under the County’s uninsured motorist coverage when not driving a County vehicle.
- Successfully argued for a defendant in front of Delaware Supreme Court on plaintiff’s Appeal of a defense verdict at trial.
- Successfully defended National chain store on numerous occasions at trial in personal injury cases.
