Summary of Experience
Edward J. Wilbraham graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1968 and from Villanova University Law School in 1974. After eleven years spent gaining extensive litigation experience as a Philadelphia County Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Wilbraham joined a large regional law firm in 1985. As a senior associate, he practiced insurance defense law, handling both bodily injury and property damage cases. Mr. Wilbraham founded the firm in 1989; he has served as its president since its inception. Mr. Wilbraham is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia and Texas. He has tried to verdict more than a hundred civil jury cases. He serves as national trial counsel to several Fortune 500 corporations and conducts his trial work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Texas and Virginia.

Selected Individual Accomplishments
Was lead counsel for the West Virginia Consolidated Mass Asbestos Tort Trial held in September and October 2002. This trial group consisted of 8,000 Plaintiffs. Of particular note, Mr. Wilbraham represented the Amchem Corporation and after four full weeks of trial, the court granted our client's Directed Verdict motion in all 8,000 claims.
Was co-lead counsel on a national trial team in the highly publicized mass trial of over 1,200 plaintiffs who filed claims for asbestos-related injuries in Newport News, Virginia. These cases settled after presenting the defense experts.
Has been lead counsel in many mesothelioma trials in New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Texas.
For the last seven years, Mr. Wilbraham has been one of six Panel Counsel Members of the International Association of Special Investigations Units (Fraud Investigations). He has authored several cover-page articles in their publication SUI Awareness.
