Summary of Experience
Following judicial clerkship and 13 years as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia County (Homicide Unit, Chief of Appeals), Mr. Lawler joined McCarter and English, doing Pennsylvania trial and appellate work. Mr. Lawler joined Wilbraham, Lawler and Buba at its inception in 1989, supervising and trying major cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Lawler briefed and argued many cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey appellate courts, virtually all of them victories. Mr. Lawler began our New York practice in 1998, opening the Manhattan office. Mr. Lawler supervised our 30,000 caseload in New York, winning all filed motions to date. Mr. Lawler has been named as national counsel for several clients who have been sued around the United States, supervising other law firms.
Selected Individual Accomplishments
Obtained affirmance in Superior Court in Mazza case (affirming Statute of Limitations dismissal) on May 10, 2003.
Manages national and regional litigation for major companies.
Handles and/or supervises the firm's appellate litigation.
